Unresolved Problem of India -- My Perspective

It’s been more than 60 years since India is struggling with its neighbor. The problem is very simple "Neighbor is not willing to change and we can not change our neighbor ". But there are certain loopholes in India's foreign policy and internal security as well. If we open our doors for the whole night and think our neighbor should be honest with us and did not enter in my house and do not do any thing in our house, this is simply rubbish. Its been proven for last few year (half a decade) all the major terror outfit is entered/existed into the country through Nepal as we have a treaty with Nepal for free entry. This open border with Nepal is responsible for many lives that is been killed during Mumbai blast, even 26/11 accused has plans to flew up through Nepal border through some new channels claims that. The question is not political but it’s more to do with our diplomatic policies and try to found out the answer, is this open border benefitting India in any sense. I can see as a lay man that this is causing more problems. The why not to close all the entries to the countries and made them open in a controlled fashion.

Second but most important factor is the local support to all the terror activities planned/executed/funded by our neighbors. These activities are not possible unless there is any local support. There are people who are caught in many of such cases and they are caught at the cost of many soldiers who have sacrificed their lives just to send then in jail and what a pity. What a shame rather those cases are still under trial in several courts. Why we can't afford to have fast track courts for these cases. We need to make a clear statement with in the country that any one who is involved in these activities will be punished and punished in time so that no one will dare to even think of that. There is no example set so far by the government. The country is still waiting for the justice and remembers Justice delayed is the Justice Denied.

Third issue I can see is the political leadership issue, since our freedom we did not manage to learn from our mistakes. The army is not given the latest weapons, our defence research organization has done many great things but sorry to say they have also taken too long and they should have given us more deadly weapons. I am sorry to say but Pakistan is way ahead in this. Their plans seems to be working, they have produced better tanks, missiles and nuclear arsenals. I know this sounds bad but we have given them this edge so that they dare to challenge us time to time. We always rely on international pressure when ever it comes to dealing with neighbors/enemies. Does any other country do that? This clearly indicates that we always need some one else to resolve the issues we cant do it alone. I know war is not the solution always but we need to learn from China. Now republic of china is not imposing the war but we never use to ignore them or their perspective and we have saw recently the world’s most powerful president denied to meet China’s enemy. No one is daring to disturb them. This is because when they fight they fight with out caring for any thing else. Where as what we do we simply talk much and fight less all the three times we were in the position to crush our enemy and teach them a lesson so that the whole world will get the message not to make a mess with India but poor leadership made bad decisions all the times.

This problem persist for a long time and the sole reason for this problem is corruption and it has a blanket of poor politics, I don’t know the exact solution for this problem I just tried to put down my analysis for this issue, I leave the solution/resolution to the readers but we need to do some thing in order to make sure that our children will have a secure and better tomorrow.
